The Learning Center is the dynamic classroom environment for our Career Transitions program.  Adults, as well as teens transitioning out of high school, who have been diagnosed with an LD, may visit the Lab to receive tutoring and career and job support.  

Individuals with an LD who are seeking to pass the GED certificate examination have access in the Learning Lab to the Literacy Link prep curriculum (workbooks and videos) published by PBS.  Roaming tutors offer basic assistance with Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies. 

The Career Transitions Program includes career assessment, writing workshops, job skills (resume, cover letter, interviews), job placement, and job retention services.  Career Transitions also offers support for college admissions and post-secondary educational accommodations.
